  I came in very recently for an oil change. When I left work that day I found that my car was leaking a significant amount of oil. I woke up Saturday morning to find about a quarter quart of oil on the floor of my garage. In the spirit of full disclosure, my car did already leak oil, but it was drops at a time. I called this facility and was told it might be a bolt that holds the filter in place, which the attendant also mentioned to me the day before. I expressed concern that the volume of the leak was now significant, and explained what I had seen. The attendant stated "well, the car shouldn't leak when it is stationary..." which in itself is ridiculous because how else would I notice the leak? He then asked me if I checked the oil level. My response was to ask why that would even be necessary since I was just at his facility less than 24 hours earlier. His response was to continue and question the validity of the leak I was seeing. I hung up on this "automotive expert" and took my car to a Jiffy Lube in McHenry IL. Upon inspection, they found the Vernon Hills location stripped the oil plug and put it back in off balance which was causing the leak. My question is, how was this not identified when the first oil change was done? If this individual didn't notice he reinstalled a bad plug, he shouldn't be working in this industry. The McHenry location re-threaded the plug and did a whole new oil change for free. Since my car has not leaked one drop of oil. I would not suggest visiting this location, and would have given it Zero stars if allowed.

  Needed to get my oil changed. The guy at the front desk was very friendly, and promised I'd be out in no more than forty five minutes. He was right on the dot! I definitely plan on returning for future car repairs.
